Multi-Unit U.S. Portfolio | Based Near a Core Market | Reports to the Chief Operating Officer

About the Opportunity

This is an opportunity to build a national events and group sales platform from the ground up for a rapidly expanding hospitality company with an ambitious U.S. growth strategy.

This is not a role focused on managing inbound inquiries or coordinating occasional private events. We're looking for a strategic sales leader who knows how to create demand, develop lasting relationships, and drive meaningful event revenue. The ideal candidate has built business through concierge networks, corporate relationships, destination management companies, event planners, and high-value social connections.

If you've built your career within premier restaurant groups, luxury hotels, or high-energy lifestyle hospitality brands, you'll feel right at home here.

About the Company

This is a fast-growing hospitality group redefining modern dining through elevated design, exceptional food, vibrant energy, and memorable guest experiences. With multiple locations already operating and several more opening across the United States, they're investing heavily in leadership that can scale alongside the business.

The company combines sophisticated hospitality with operational excellence, creating spaces that are equally suited for everyday dining, private celebrations, corporate gatherings, and full venue buyouts.

The Opportunity

As the National Director of Events & Group Sales, you'll lead the strategy and execution of group sales and private events across a growing portfolio of restaurants.

This is a portfolio-level leadership role responsible for turning private dining, corporate events, buyouts, and brand activations into a major revenue driver for the organization.

Success will be measured by revenue growth, booking pace, client acquisition, repeat business, profitability, and market penetration.

This is a sales leadership position, not an event coordination role.

What You'll Do

  • Build demand proactively across multiple markets through networking and business development.
  • Establish relationships with hotel concierge teams, destination management companies, event planners, corporate clients, and community influencers.
  • Drive weekday corporate business while maximizing premium event opportunities.
  • Secure full-venue buyouts, brand partnerships, influencer activations, and large-scale social events.
  • Develop long-term relationships that create repeat business across multiple markets.
  • Own portfolio-level sales goals, pipeline reporting, forecasting, conversion metrics, and revenue performance.
  • Partner closely with General Managers and culinary leadership to ensure exceptional execution and guest experience.
  • Help establish best practices, systems, and processes as the department continues to grow.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of hospitality sales leadership within luxury restaurants, lifestyle hospitality, boutique hotels, or comparable premium brands.
  • Demonstrated success generating new business through relationship-driven sales.
  • Existing network of concierge teams, destination management companies, event planners, corporate accounts, and repeat clientele.
  • Experience selling premium private events, large-scale buyouts, corporate programs, and brand activations.
  • Strong financial acumen including forecasting, budgeting, and revenue management.
  • Experience leading teams or building scalable sales organizations.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build processes in a high-growth environment.
  • Willingness to travel regularly and be based near one of the company's primary operating markets.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $110,000–$125,000
  • Target Total Compensation: $150,000–$170,000+
  • Aggressive commission structure with significant upside
  • Annual performance bonus
  • Relocation assistance, if applicable
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Paid time off
  • Business development expense account

Current & Upcoming Markets

Current and planned locations include several major metropolitan markets throughout the United States, with continued expansion planned over the coming years.

If you're passionate about building relationships, creating unforgettable experiences, and helping shape the future of a rapidly growing hospitality brand, we'd love to connect.
